1. The ILS frequency for both 34L and 16R at KRNO (Reno, NV) is 110.9 (at least according to my source, FSNavigator). Approaching 34L (5 mi out, rw in sight), I can hear the ILS on the PA, but the glideslope indicator doesn't appear and if I turn on APP, the airplane wants to turn around. Can you tell what I'm doing wrong? I have landed the airplane before, BTW, but am missing something here!

2. Approaching KSFO after dark, broken clouds, I overfly KSJC and about then, the upper half of my screen goes grey. Apparently not being updated: I select the overhead panel to turn on taxi lights and when I close it, the part of the panel that overlapped the windshield remains displayed, all views. I continue the approach, although the autopilot seems frozen too. Couple of minutes later, the window clears but in fact the A/P hasn't followed the glideslope and I can't land... This happened on three successive approaches. Also, during this time I pulled up the FMC, but when closing it left a black rect from behind it on the screen and when the FMC was re-opened, the rect moved over bit but stayed around. Any clues?

Other than these, I've had a bunch of great flights in the 737! Thanks for a worthy aircraft! -- DB
