Hi !
Just wonder wheater it will be a big job to make the 737-400 FMC to make values for 737-NG as well ?
like, you could choose 737-Classic or 737 Next Generation option before running the FMC.
So that the FMC would calculate proper N1 values and Speeds for the NG version.

No expericence in programming, so I donīt know how hard work it would be, and it might cause a lot of trouble in the panel and Iīm aware that it is a 400 product.

Just something that hit my mind today...

Continue to make good progress !

There's no doubt that when we get around to doing an NG variant of the panel that we will do just that, however, until **we** do such a panel / aircraft, there are no plans to modify the FMC for use on other NG aircraft / panels. Same for the .air file. ;-)

Of course, those developers producing such aircraft are welcome to program their own FMC! :-eek

It could be done by modifying the aircraft.cfg of the NG variant. It takes some work. I'm hoping the wonderful team that did the Ariane modification for the -300 will consider doing it.
