If you receive this error message while trying to create an aircraft in text-o-matic, it means that somehow your aircraft.cfg file properties got changed from "archive" to "read only", and the file can no longer be accessed by T-o-M in order to modify it for the new aircraft you are creating.
To fix this, do the following:
1. Go into the main aircraft folder for the aircraft you have having the problem with, example: Flight One C177.
2. Locate the aircraft.cfg file.
3. Right click on it, and on the menu that pops up, go to the bottom and click on "properties".
4. On the next menu that pops up, go to the bottom of it, and see that only "archive" is checked, NOT "read only". Be sure ONLY archive is checked, not both archive and read only.
