LAST EDITED ON May-17-03 AT 00:52AM (EDT)[p]Hi everyone!

I'm a newbie but determined to become an expert in scenery design. I'm doing right now AFCAD files of all the US Air Force bases in America and overseas for the MY TRAFFIC program. But now I'm getting into scenery.

I have just simply put up a runway and would like to put it into Flight Simulator that it shows up on Great Exuma in the Bhamas. I have already created an AFCAD file for it, so the location shows up in the Airports file menu in FS. So I pushed the "Compile " button. FS isn't running. An error window "Airport v2.60 Error" comes up and says:

"Internal Airport Error setting up Compiler, Bad SCASM Directory.
C\My Documents\Software Projects\Airport 2.60\SASM 2.85\scasm.exe"

I'm at odds. Does anyone know what to do? Any help is greatly appreciated.

The program cannot find the SCASM.EXE program. You need to go into the Options/Directories, and use the Browse button to locate the SCASM.EXE compiler.

Hi Tom,

thanks for your help. I did how you told me to do and then apparently the file got compiled, but: another message came up:

"Error Installing BGL file
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FS2002\Scenedb\Airport\Scenery\MYEE.bgl.
Make sure the directory exists.

In the path "Airport\Scenery" was missing, so I created it and hit again "Compile>" After that I opend FS2002 and found no runway inserted.

I went to look where the bgl file went to and I found:

in folder Airport:
Scenery folder (of course)
SCENERY.dat

in the Scenery folder:
MYEE.bgl (great!)
MYEE.xcl

Is there one too many in one of those folders? I appreciate your help, Tom. If you're using Windows Messenger or MSN Messenger we could connect easier. My address is: siam_dario@hotmail.com

All the best!
