I am trying to update an older scenery I have designed for FS2000 to Fs2002. I am using an old build that I used to create the scenery in the first place, build 82. I do not want to use a build above 93 because of the change, and have tried to use 93 up builds on old sceneries, and it simply does not work for me. Causes all sorts of problems. so I try to use the same builds for the original scenery. I have been getting along well, except when I tried to import my original background map It worked the first time. Since then I cannot get the background map to load. When I click on the OK button nothing happens except the import window dissappears. I made a new map useing FS2002, thought that might work, but it doesn't.

Has any one had a similar problem, and does anyone know how to get the Background map to work for FS2002 scenery.

I am using Windows XP.

I have found that if the resolution of the import isn't just right, or the zoom value within Apt (Build doesn't matter) is too much one way or the other, then the background *.bmp won't display. Try importing the screen shot into a "new", blank airport schematic to see if making adjustments to the controls makes any difference. If it works in that one, it should function in any *.apt file that you choose to open.
