I have struggled for days with this. At first I thought they were just not showing up, then I found them far from the airport where they were supposed to be. I fooled around with the scale of the map and finally got some static aircraft to show. Now, at a different airport, nothing I have done has made them show. From FS I would look down and navigate to the spot where I want to place one then right anywhere and bring up the 3d dialogue. Then I manually entered the coordinates. Sent it through the mill, went to FS, went to the scenery library and back---no static! I have beed using 2.6 build 135, upgraded today to 136.
I have noticed that anytime I select the "User APIs" and browse to the one I want, the right location shows up in the dialogue but it is greyed out. This has happeded everytime, both when I have placed statics and when I haven't been able to. ????? John

I'm not sure what you are asking.
My user 3D Macros are created by EOD 2.0
I only enter dimensions and textures.

In Airport, I go to the spot on the airport and right click.
This brings up the box and I select 3D macro.
I then select my macro and make sure it's exactly where I need
it to be.
I use an airport bmp backround image from a satellite picture to
place the macro.
After compilation, the item show as it should in the exact spot
in my airport.

Thanks for reply.

That is my problem. I am able to insert objects in several default airports but I have one airport in which I can insert NOTHING, nada, rien, nitchevo! It has me totally baffled. However, as I continue to struggle I find that I am learning more and more so maybe, one day, the problem will be solved. May that day come soon for the sake of the little hair I have left! John

Does this airport have flatten areas? I'm learning to be careful about them. I don't think exclude ares should be a problem.
