Hi there

I'm new to scenery developing and have started building a small scenery for my hometown. My question relates to the location of the airport textures that come with airport 2.6 and how the program knows where to look for them. I like to keep all my non default FS textures with my scenery and not copy them into the main FS texture directory.

Question 1

When I am setting up my directories to locate the textures I am a little confused as to where I should be pointing the directories to. Do I point the program to the main FS texture directory, the aiport2.6/texture directory or the MYSCENERY/texture directory (i.e the scenery that I am making)?

Question 2

If I want to package up my scenery to give to someone else, how do I keep track of all the textures that I have used.

Thanks in advance

Kevin

***I think Apt 2x assumes you're using FS2xxx\Texture for your textures.
However, I think you can point to anywhere you wish by using the <browse> feature on the options\directories menu in Apt. NOTE: you should set-up these options for each scenery project you work-on..

*** In Apt2x, click on view menu and select "Scenery distribution files list", which shows you the names and
locations of the files used in your project...

'Hope this Helps; J.R.
