Hi,
I noticed that in FS2002 some rivers are much too small. The Main river, running along germany's major intercontinental hub Frankfurt, is barely visible and seems to be as wide as the wingspan of a Cessna 180.
I tried to lay a textured polygon (texture: river.r8) on top of the default scenery using Airport 2.60 build 123 - but it does not show up in FS2002.
But when I copy the same scenery into FS2000 the polygons do show up!
I tried to place a couple of textures with a hand-written macro on the ground, but again: visible in FS2K, not visible in FS2002.
Does anybody know a way to place a custom ground texture or to place a textured polygone on the ground for FS2002 ?
Or do you have any other (better?) idea to replace the small default rivers with custom ones?
P.S.:
If you are not familiar with germany or Frankfurt, look at the Chicago river to see what I mean.
Cheers,
Emacs
