Reynosa VA Automation System Enters Beta Stage

The first beta release of the Reynosa VA Automation system was released yesterday.

Reynosa is a free PHP/MySQL automation system available to all virtual airlines who lack the time or skills to develop their own. The distribution itself is free, and customization/integration services are available for a small charge.

The first public release will be May 1.

Horrible idea. All these people with good intentions, are actually tearing apart most VA's.

You will have 15 year olds who want a startup VA to work, use this system, have pilots sign up, and then abandon his work 2 weeks later. And repeat again and again and again.

It's a great idea, but what im really saying is...Automation is what sets most Virtual Airlines apart. Of course there is other factors, Fleet Quality, Staff, etc. but it also matters of taking off the workload for the staff, an it looks good to prospective pilots too.

I can't stop you, but take this into consideration, it's healthy, but not for long.

You bring up a good point...but I disagree that it is "tearing" about VA's. There have been many quality VA's that have had dedicated staff, but just couldn't keep up with the workload and/or attract new pilots. I think that this automation system will help the VA industry along. It's also a good option for established VA's who need an automation system, and don't have a staff member with those talents.

If some VA's install it and die, so what? I believe the system will help start-up VA's achieve success if they keep up their part. Like you pointed out - automation is only one of the factors that sets apart quality VA's from lesser quality VA's.
