In just under 2 years of operations, the FlightBase network, home of Livewire, EuroLivewire, LivewireExpress and AeroLivewire Airlines, has just accepted it's 10,000th member with over 1,000 of those members becoming pilot with our VA's. Though development will not be complete for the VA's until Jan. 2004, well over 400 pilots are currently active* on our Beta site at http://www.livewireairlines.com . Work has already begun final version of the airline and can be viewed at http://guest:sammy@www.flightbase2000.com/members/livewire
* Unlike most other VA's we consider an active pilot to be a person who has filed at least one flight within the past couple of months. Pilots with no hours are not considered active pilots.

LAST EDITED ON Sep-26-02 AT 07:21PM (EDT)[p]What was the contest?
Come on down from 35,000 feet and try a couple of ACE Missions at 3-4,000 feet. No A/P. Lousy visibility. 15,000' mountains between you and your next waypoint. Your MAXIMUM allowed altitude is 4,000'. And if ya bust the altitude too many times, yer snarly co-pilot shoots you. See why we don't have 1000 pilots?:-lol

No contest, just something we're very very proud of!
And the fact that you'd respond with an ad for your airline is in very bad taste! If you want advertise, go ahead and start a thread but trying to belittle my post is a true sign of immaturity!

You've misread between the lines. Twas an invite, try yer hand at some missions. They're fun. And unique! And all that stuff.
But then again, some pilots are just button pushers...

As a pilot with Livewire airlines I would like to thank you for the great site and hard work that you have put in. In doing so you have build not a good VA, but a great VA.
