LAST EDITED ON Jul-27-02 AT 03:13PM (EDT)[p]now, before you say, "jeez, another new VA..." this is not just any 'new' VA, or rather its new, but its also 'old', too.....confused? Here's the skinny.....

Old Dominion is a VA I am putting together that is based not in a hub, but in a time period....the Golden Age of aviation, the 1920's and 1930's, up to to late 1950's (just before hubs, and before any jets).
I am just starting out here...the website is up http://beeker46.tripod.com/odat/ , there are currently three aircraft available to fly (a Pitcairn Mailwing, an Electra 10A and a Ford Tri-Motor), and about a dozen routes sketched out (but still growing).

The routes are based (as closely as can be possible with a 21st century sim), on actual routes flown by Air Mail pilots in the late 20's and early 30's. Old Dominion's home field is Richmond (KRIC), and serves mainly the Mid-Atlantic states and soon the entire East Coast. As I introduce larger aircraft, service will expand westward to encomapss all of the Continental United States.
You've got jets everywhere, on nearly every VA, but who has vintage aircraft? Come on over and take a look around....right now I am the man-wearing-all-the-hats. For those who have more fun creating than flying...I have a job for you, too...I could use any and all help.
The company is not yet open for business, but I hope to soon have enough routes laid out to open the doors, strike up the band and turn on the searchlights.
Novice to Expert pilots are welcome, anyone who has ever wondered what it would have been like to fly in the early years of air travel, vintage aircraft enthusiast, armchair pilot or hardcore flightsimmer, everyone is welcome to look around.
