Hi,

Next year I will build my own cockpit but I have a question.

- I want to have about 4 or 5 monitors, I want to add them all to one pc, do I also need more then one grafic card?
only two monitors are for the outside view...

thanks in advance,

If you don't use project magenta / free FD then ask this man :

With his setup you'll only need 2 PC for 2 outside view (using WidevieW for the extra outside view).

He has some good resources.

I just helped upgrade a friends machine from 98 to xp which had three 21" monitors. It used two graphics cards one drove a single monitor and the other graphics card was "dual headed" and drove two monitors. It appeared that there was no limit to the number of monitors the os would consider (althought I suspect there might be a maximum like 8). The OS appears to do a decent job managing multiple monitors including the window overlap. It did take a fair amount of time calibrating the montiors to give the same result.
