Does anyine know the pinout of the plug and how to fire it up?

What I did with my unit was to ring local avionics repair specialists, explain that I am criminally insane :-lol .. and beg them, nay, offer money even, perhaps your first born.. for a photocopy of the pinouts.

Its worth making sure you have the following.

Several adjustable voltage current limited power supply units ;-)
a very good soldering iron and a strong desk light - preferably with a magnifyer !

as an example, my cdu needs the following.

+28vdc
+24vdc
+14vdc
+5vdc
+18vdc

you could probably run the 28/24 as both 24v
the 18 and 14 MAY be able to co-exist - in my case the 14 feeds an internal 8v regulator, so no probs - I compromised on 16.
