Where to start

I want to build a full-size flight deck of a 737-400, but I do not know where to start. I've been to several websites, and most have great pictures, but no real step-by-step procedures to help me get started. My problem is that I'm not a very good designer, so trying to figure all the wiring, etc., out on my own is tough. But, I am very good with following instructions, so the task is not above my abilities. If anyone has any information that can help me, please let me know.

I suppose, the designing of the cockpit is part of the fun; I guess I now know that I won't be an engineer :D
