x-plane combat

anyone know what happened to x-plane combat? if i am not mistaken it was supposed to be released around thanksgiving 2002. i can put weapons on the planes, but cant fire them. can anyone help?

That's what the rest of the X-Plane community is wondering as well. Some think the lack of new X-Combat news means Austin is hunkered down in final development. Some wonder if it will vanish like X-Car. Me, I just hope that even if X-Combat vanishes, we'll get to keep those weapon parts for eye-candy.
