Error installing 6.21

LAST EDITED ON Jul-12-02 AT 08:16AM (EDT)[p]After installing the X-Plane 6.0 disk I download X-Plane 6.21 (downloaded from several differnent sites) and run the self extracting winace file and when it is almost completely extracted I get the message:

67 File(s) could not be extracted ...

I've tried uninstalling version 6.0 and then extracting the 6.21 version but still no luck. I've tried downloading several times and installing several times, no change.

I'm forever getting the above error, does anyone have any ideas?

K7S5A ECS Mainboard
AMD xp1800
MSI Geforce 3 Ti500
512 mb DDR PC 2100
Win 2000 Pro (SP2)

I'd say get the latest 6.23 - extract in a dosfferent folder and delete the x*.prf files in windows directory. Give it a shot.

6.23 is still a beta but still probably better than 6.21.
