Anyone had any luck getting multiple monitors going with X-Plane.

I have a 3 monitor system and want to go to four mons. I am a student pilot and I am looking for the ability to look direct fwd, fwd left, direct left and aft left to simulate left hand traffic patterns using visual cues.

My system works great for web browsing and spreadsheets but sucks in FS2002 (choppy).

Not to mention FS never had a flight model that felt as good as SU-27 Flanker.

I think X-Plane might be the one for me, but wonder if anyone has already had some success with these sort of things.

Any thoughts appreciated.

I don't know whether it's possible with X-Plane or not; but I do know that running multiple cockpit views from one computer would lower your frame rates to an unflyable level.

Try the new Matrox G550 card, it has built in support for three monitors, I am lookingat getting one, but don't know if it will work correctly with X-Plane yet!
