Our early morning test of our new missile defense system was a success. A Titan II nuclear missile lifted off from Vandenberg at about 7:55 am EST this morning and was intercepted ten minutes later by a Nike anti-air missile. This was the first test of such a system, with the delay of Sim Space Command's exodus launch. Officials of our new military division, SIm Missile Defense also watched the test and it was deemed a success. Images have been uploaded to the site, view them by clicking on the "Military DIvision (SMD)" link on the home page then by clicking the "Nike-Titan Intercept #1" link on the SMD gateway site. In other news a contract is pending between SimASTRO and Popular FS2000 design team AIMs. The contract was not publicly announced until now. We thank Brad Hodges for making this possible and for all his help.
