Hellow folks!
Iīve just bought X-Plane, and after a long time flying in
Fly! and fs2000, I decided to buy X-Plane for several reasons:
1) The Smooth is better that fs2000
2) The Sky and Clouds are incredible. The best I think!
3) The terrain is better than fs2000 because to get the same
long terrain in fs2000 you have to run it in a super machine
My system is based on AMD ATHLON 800
GEFORCE 2 GTS
384 MB RAM
GIGABYTE MOTHER BOARD

and the frame rate is poor. The DC10 from FreeWare Group, doesnīt fly, really it gets hardly trailing.
4) X-Plane has got an incredible flight models. The best I supose!
5) X-Plane has got a complete ATC without need three part addons!
6)I think The graphic engine ( OPENGL ) is very pretty and powerful the others.
7) The potential X-Plane textures has no limit.
8) Iīm really a X-Plane lover.
it gets run faster than others

Yes I agree with you!
But you know what? I'm totally excited abou what the people at
microsoft are promesing with FS2002, this new technology called ..:-/ ..well I can't think of the name, but it adds trees, buildings and other types of scenery objects as you fly by the place.
the screenshots are UNBELIEVABLE! not to mention the new effects like smoke and turning wheels, interactive ATC is also going to come with FS2002.

I am currently an X-plane lover too but I can't deny the fact that Austin will have to seriously start focussing also on the scenery of the sim and not just the flight models.
So I guess X-plane has some serious trouble coming on the way.

Yes, Sam but...

Could you imagine what type of machine would you need?

Have you think for a while How much money would you have to pay in order to get What? 10, 12 or 15 frames rate?

I think really the truly potential of FS2000-20002 is the so great people works daily for it!

There are a lot of desinteresated and great pople and very, very
good artist as Roy Chaffin, and the genial Jam Visser who have
made arth works as the R4D NATS, for example what I think is
an incredible work in all orders of term.

I think X-Plane has to improve some points as:

- It necesary need a flightplanner like Fsnavigator.( The best in world, I think . This is the more weak point of this flight simulator.
- It would have got a realtime mov map with readable text and navs.
- It have to improve the scenery system.
- Whatīs up with the Speech System? It needs speaken ATC.

Thanks for your message, Sam.

So long and expecting news of you!

That's one of the most exciting points about the whole deal papelin, I forgot to mention in the previous post.
you have a point when you talk about the kind of machine that would be required to run the fs2002 sim, However, acording to the review that Mr Peter James Had Witht the FS2002 staff, the "autogen" technology is really going to improve the overall performance, so Better technology and the ability to run on modern day machines without people having to upgrade to P4 1.4 GHz. When first hearing the news that the game runs perfectly on a P500 MHz PC.They feel confident about it, and the have learned some lessons with the problems of the other sims.

I believe that.

Thanks for being so happy!
I hope so too!

Have you notice the long time from Laminar realesed 5.66 to now?

I wonder whatīs is wrong with it?
I think Austin is going to give us a very good surprise?
Iīm worry itīs passing the days and nothing is happening.

What do you think?

So long Sam.

Having spoken to Austin a time or two, I've found that he's quite a brilliant person. No doubt he's planning some awesome things in the next release.

Hellow!

I donīt doubt my friend!

The only thing I wanted to say is there was a couple of days

After you post your fs 2002īs email I was giving a round for the Avsim Web in order to see You told about it.

Itīs really a promise and I believe It was going to be a flight simulation worldīs revolution either.

I havenīt met with Austin anytime but I supose Heīs a very brillant person. There is X-Plane! An Art work!

So long...
