View Full Version : Xplane is good!
I'm glad i downloaded this sim. Not only does it look cool, but it also helped me to find out that the company that sold me my computer, sold me the wrong video card...placing a non-upgradeable laptop card in it! Got to play the new version once....some weird accident...was kinda slow....but it looked cool! Thanks Xplane!

Adam, don't you get it?!? No one is going to read your post unless you complain about something. How is your post going to stimulate anyone to respond to you? "Xplane is good!"?…. you just sound too satisfied :)
I'm new to X-Plane too and while it didn't solve any hardware misconfigurations for me I'm quit pleased with the sim as well. I'm not sure what I was expecting it to be but I had no idea of its range.
I bought it for helicopters and I spend as much time in jets and science fiction hover cars. The game evolves so fast that old versions of its engine should be sold to space sim developers. I would personally lie, cheat and steal for a military helicopter sim featuring that UH-1 Huey.
Thanks X-Plane! :)
I played it on my dads computer...but hes got a turtle...PII..was pretty cool..hes got an ok video card. I have a rage mobility 8meg, and every time i try to load the demo, i get this weird falt and has a heartattack becase the non upgradeable driver wont load...ATI has no fixes for the mobility chips. and i called the place where i got the computer from and pretty much said oh well...(cant find my recipt either) I got it becase i fly RC planes...and this summer hope to buy an ultralight. The only helo game i played was apache havoc...and i crashed to much. (haha) My dad had a cherokee 40 back in the day..(got pics of him in his bell-bottom overalls, tall, patent leather piolts boots and led zeplin hair cut) and he said Xplane was pretty impressive! I just got into this flight sim kick about 2 months ago...when i leaped from a DX4 to my new AMD 1000...still figuring stuff out...but the flyin' is in my blood!
