32-bit screen display

I cannot get my X-plane to attain 32-bit definition even though it seems to be available in the menu.

I see some degredation in panel bitmap quality in 16-bit.


I have a PIII800, 256R, with an NVIDIA geforce2 with what i think are the latest drivers although called TNT,,,

any ideas?

Did you make sure that computer screen settings were set at
the same settings as you set X-Plane before you open x-plane.
And is your monitor capable of 32bit settings.
