Smoking tires during taxie?

Yesterday before my x-plane 5.65 crashed and had to reinstall it.
When I was taxie my B-200 smoke was coming from tires?
With my new install 5.65 today there is no smoke coming from tires during taxie? Did I have something set wrong.
Smoke on/off key x would that cause it.?
PS I have got to ask all the questions I can cause I forget
my pass word. (:

tires don't smoke during taxi, they either smoke when you are going above 15 kias on the ground, (as in NOT on a taxiway or runway), or upon touchdown. the X key activates the engine smoke.

If the taxiway or runway was wet then what you were seeing was spray from the tires. If it wasn't wet then I'm not sure what it was.
