I`m pretty sure their are a few XP users out there that have
a video output function from their video card. Well I have
a voodoo 3 3000 that has one and I never really tryed to use
it until yesterday. I hooked the AV cables up to my TV/VCR
combo and ran off 18 movies that I had saved in X-Plane
into the Combo to record. It worked out great and was even
able to add music tracks to the video by running real jukebox
playlists the same time. It didn`t have any effect on ATC
chatter. In all it took about 5 hours to record all the movies
because I had to restart X-plane after running each movie. It
would not open a new movie after running one. What was really
neat, I took the tape and put it my big screen TV home theater
and WOW!!!!! Now I plan on using my video capture and digitize
video clips into mpegs. Hope to have some done to upload for
everyone to see sometime in the future.
