Hello All, I've just purchased X-Plane and am fascinated at the realism and great frame rates. The game seems to lock-up on me many times. I have downloaded the newest version (5.65). I have a Asus V7700 (GeForce2 GTS) video card running on a PIII-500 system with Direct X 8.0 installed.

I really like this SIM. Please help me solve this problem. BTW, I am using the detonator 3 drivers from Nvidea.

Thanks,

Lane

Not to turn this into a "me too" fest, but I have the same problem. X will randomly lock up, as will plane maker, for no apparent reason. The computer simply stops.

And my computer is nothing like yours... a Compaq 1600-XL1 notebook with a Celeron 450 and a Trident Cyberblade i1 graphics controller.

Have either of you gone into your windows directory and deleted
your xplane prf. files. They can be a major problem if you have
recently upgraded or changed some of your graphic settings.
You should delete them all and restart X-Plane. At that time
you have to reset all of graphic and joystick, logbook. Seen
this cure many a problem.
