Hi, I have Flight SIm and I noticed in all the places I visited you have the funnest adventures of any. A couple of questions. For Tiger Woods 2005, I tried to install the Augusta Georgia Gold course and it said I had to have v. 1.0 before I could install 1.1. On the downl;aod site you gave, it said 1.0 had been removed from the downloads section. Where can I get it now? Also, in you boat races did you use a boating sim or Flight Sim, and where can I downlaod racing boats for flight sim 2004? And finally, Where can I download fancy cars to drive in flight sim?

Hi Jonathan,
Thanks for stopping by.
Here's the scoop on the 1.0/1.1 stuff. Version 1.0 of the Augusta course came out right about the time we were staging our golf event in April. It was quickly replaced by the author with version 1.1 and he removed the original from the CourseDownloads.com site where we get most of the add-on courses for TW2005. You do not need 1.0. Just install 1.1. No one uses 1.0 now at all. If you need any help with the install, just let me know. I developed a little tutorial for our guys that I'll be glad to send to you.
As for the boat race, it was done in FS9 using spdboat.zip from the FlightSim.com library. It's an FS2002 cigarette boat that's works well and is both fast and fun to drive. For other boats, search the library with keyword "boat". Also, take a look at http://www.fs-shipyards.com for many other types of boats including the Queen Mary 2 which we also used in a recent event.
There are many cars that have been developed for FS9. Again, a keyword search of the library using "car" will bring up lots of choices. My personal favorite is an FS2002 Mercedes in the library called "mbs155am.zip". It too works just fine in FS9. If you want a nice place to drive it, try our Kapalua, Hawaii scenery called "kapawest, zip". It was designed by our other moderator, Geoff Seal. Kapawest has some great hard surface roads for the car.
Hope this answers your questions. Nice to make your acquaintance and hope you'll drop in again.
Also, I took a look at your website. A really nice job there.
Best regards,
