On July 2nd I am joining with a number of fellow simmers to fly the MacRobertson Air Race. From Experience of this Race it takes 2 to 3 days depending on how much sleep you need. Not everyone wants to fly multiplayer but off or on the Multi we will be using Teamspeak, IRC, AIM, ICQ, Forum(s) and email to keep in touch throughout the Race.
The Race is to be flown in the spirit of the first Race which as we all know was 1934. So Nav is a map (a real one - paper not FSNavigator etc) no GPS, no ATC and so on. We also have a custom copy of the Duenna thanks to John Muller.
If anyone wants to check out the site below you can read about what we have planned. Just a note to say that this is note an inter site Race like the RTW but is just for fun :) Be nice to see you there.
