I was only there for a short time, but it was awesome. IT truly displayed the power of FS' multiplayer facilities!! Well, this is how it went for me:

- Started off from Liverpool airport (changed my Time settings so it was Day, even though it wasn't =D ), ended up FAR away from everyone, so taxied to the end of the queue, behind salt_air. I was in a blue Mooney Bravo, callsign VIX9.

- Everyone was American on Teamspeak!! So that was fun, anyway, got stuff sorted out, GPS tutorial, etc... so we took off from Liverpool, (EGGP) and headed over to Manchester (EGCC). It was a smooth enough flight.

- Landing was FUN. For one, I didn't know if I was landing on the right runway. I'm a rubbish lander, so I botched it and ended up some metres to the left of the runway. Anyway, met up with everyone else who had landed, next to Bill's Baron.

- I had to leave then in a hurry, but it was really awesome!

What did everyone else who was there think? Take some time out to comment!!

On a more negative note, I won't be around for a month or so because of exams, but when I get back I'm going to organise a Tiger Moth - Duxford fly-in, so grab tiger4free.zip and get practising!

See ya all around,

Thanks for everyone's help. I really did enjoy this and definitly plan on attending future evernts.

Thanks Goeff for all the help

You guys (all) did a great job picking things up. Welcomed addition(s) to our fine group. Just thinking, when you get a chance you should pick up a couple more downloads.

http://www.chocolatesoftware.com for something called FSHost Spy ver. 1.1 . Make sure to download the program called TS2 Client(not server,,,,at least for now). It will give you a list of every FSHost server that is running(60 second refresh rate)with their address with links to their websites and homepages. You can see who's "on" what they're flying and where they are. Also a display of each pilots flight plan(if they took time to file).Pretty cool and it's free, that's real cool.

Next would be the fsnav460.zip you can get right here. Don't have enough room here to get into this one all the way, but it's the best single add-on you can acquire whether you fly on-line or not. A flight planner, management system, and moving map with current airways ,SID/STARS, and when you load it up it will pick up on every airport in YOUR flight simulator including any add-on scenery. That's pretty cool too. Free for a trial period then you'll have to cough up a few bucks, thirty US I think. Well worth every penny. Trial period is about twenty flights I think, long enough to figure it out and enjoy all that it can do.

OK guys load these up and we'll get you through them next time out. You can actually get most of it on your own.

Speak soon,

If you don't want to pay for FSNavigator (What's this 'money'? I don't have a clue.) then you could try FSMoving map - http://www.ranainside.com/

Well you can look out for my Duxford Fly-In. A web site and event system should be setup by end-May.
