Hello everyone,

I have downloaded and installed FShostspy and I truly beleive it's great tool for multiplayer gaming.

I used it for about a week without any problem and it suddenly started not showing the server list in the main window.

In the status bar at the bottom, I see 120 server found, 1 filtered out. The only problem is that I get a blank windows without any server showing.

The only change I did to my system was that after adding some textures mods to FS2004 I had to uninstall the game and reinstall it.

Processor: Athlon XP 2200+
Ram: DDR 512 mb
Video card: Nvidia FX5200 128 mb
Internet connection: Cable
Firewall: Zone Alarm Pro (correctly configured to allow FS and FSHostspy to connect ot the internet)

I already deleted FsHostspy and reinstalled it and I also tried removing all the filter parameters without success.

Thank you for you help,

Bob Breton

Hi Bob,

Thanks for stopping in. Hope you'll return soon.

I have the same problem that you are describing and I'll bet others do too. It seems to be native to both FSHost and FSHostSpy. I don't know the why, but I do know the workaround.

Here's what your screen probably looks like:

What has happened is that the listing window has collapsed to the left side. Move your mouse curser over the far left edge of the Session Comments section as shown below. When the small double arrows appear on your screen, press and hold the left mouse button and drag the window to the right and release. The listing of the sessions will appear.

Sometimes you'll open the program and find the whole thing collapsed. You'll have to first open the entire window outline and then open the Session Comments section. But, not a bad price to pay for such a great addon.

Hope this helps and gets you running again. Now perhaps someone can answer the why....

Best regards,

Ed

Hey Bob,

Thought I was the only one with this problem,,,Ed's right on. I can also change to full screen and that sometimes will bring the sizing back so you can read all fields.

Thank you so much for your answer.

It is exactly what hapenned. Even though I feel a bit ashamed that I did not realise that myself, I hope it will help others too.

Thank you very much for your time, I hope to see you all online very soon.
