Well...I flew all the way from the UK to Canada...mostly online. Last night (for reasons I can not work out yet) I couldn't connect for the fly-in.
I thought it may be the fact that I installed a NoCD patch but after a full install I still have the same problem!
I open multiplayer, put in the server ip - Ive changed client settings but still no luck. I cant connect to any servers which show up on FSHostSpy.
Has anyone got any ideas???
P.S Firewall is off - just a straight connection through a cable modem.

I seem to have sussed it out. Yesterday morning I attempted to install Directx 9.0c. It stopped half way through declaring that the driver was not signed with no option to ignore and go on.
I have found a way around it now and if anyone else would like to install Directx 9.0c please use this link to help you...

...this seems to be the reason why I couldn't connect.

Probably Geoff will post here with more information but you were not the only one who had problems getting into the Vancouver-Juneau Valley fly-in. Apparently it seemed to be a problem involving folks not setting their FPS to 20 or less and perhaps a combination of too many entries where FSNav was also being used. Anyway it's too bad you flew all that distance and couldn't get in. I was going to ask how you liked the Comox scenery. Hope to speak during one of the short flights planned for the Juneau Valley and the Geneer AKR Station visit.

The Comox scenery is excellent...used it as my base before the fly-in.
This s/s is of Comox at night after my flight from Winnipeg.
