Hey are you the same Erik who was in The Flight Crew? This is John Fay.
If this is you, how are ya? Have you heard from John Walker?
I am working toward doing commercial CG work now but have recently gotten back into FS again in my spare time. I haven't done a multiplayer flight in over 2 years and really miss it. Let's do a flight sometime.
John
P.S.
If you have any requests for a multiplayer scenery, I would be happy to help. I'm pretty busy, but am considerably better at it that when last we met. I haven't used GMAX in awhile, but 3ds max is basicly the same and I have a list of all of the animation keywords that FS uses, so I'm sure I could throw something together fairly quick.

Hey John long time no see, Yep I am the same Erik from The Flight Crew. Haven't heard from John Walker. It has also been a while since I have flown MP. I have been lurking on this forum for a bit but just have not been able to fly with these guys. Every time they go up I already have plans but I am sure I will be able to go up on the one on the 12th of this month.
I will be glad to meet up on a flight sometime. I am free for this weekend and most others. We could use the server they have setup here.
Well got to go eat some turkey. Have a happy Thanksgiving.

Sorry it took me so long to reply. I work for DHL while learning how to model, animate, and render photo realistic CG graphics on 2 different 3D programs at the same time! As you can imagine I don't have much time. I average around 3-4 hours of sleep a night.
Remember that Base that I made in Hawaii? Man what I could do with that now! I'm not sure that Flightsim could handle it.
Anyway, I'd love to do a few flights soon, and even get another "Crew" together some day.
I did try a multi flight about 2 months ago, but I really can't call it a success. I couldn't get Teamspeak to work properly and nobody uses Roger Wilco anymore so I just signed off and went to bed. To think I actually payed to register Roger Wilco!
Man the flightcrew days were the most fun I've ever had in flightsim. A bunch of drunken virtual pilots flying around looking for survivours in a full blown hurricane, or searching for a downed plane in Nevada only to find a UFO hovering in the desert over another crashed UFO with little Aliens looking up at you with those little beady eyes! Now that's entertainment!
I wish we could have finished all of those projects that we had on the drawing board. I was lucky to finish that amphibious jet. At about the same time, I lost my job, and John Walker had some problems, not the least of which was a car accident, so things just fell apart.
Ok, this is turning into a novel. Nice hearing from you again. My e-mail is bendon65@msn.com if ya' get some free time and wanna do a flight. I might even throw together a little scenery to have fun with.
See ya',
John
