aircraft.cfg flight tuning section question

Hello out there!

In the flight tuning section of the aircraft.cfg file, does increasing the number above 1 (one) make the aircraft more stable, effective, etc.?

ie: if I increase the roll_stability scalar from 1 to, say, 2, does in become more stable or less stable?

It depends on the entry... Increasing Elevator_effectiveness, etc... will make the aircraft more sensitive to input, whereas increasing the stability scalars will make the aircraft more stable in the scalar's designated axis...
