To celebrate to return of Icelandair service to my home airport, tonight I flew Icelandair Flight 606, CYHZ-BIKF.

Below is a screenshot approaching Iceland with a sunrise at around 5am.

Nice shot....nice to hear Icelandair is stopping in Halifax again. Some years back, I did some commissioned paintings for some Icelandair flight attendants who saw my paintings downtown during their stop. They even gave me a little book about Iceland. I'd like to go their some day for a trip.

Thanks David, and yes I too am happy about Icelandair returning. My mom had a chance to fly Halifax - London via Reykjavik with Icelandair when they flew to Halifax previously and she raved about their service.

I'm planning a trip to Europe in the near future for my honeymoon, and I plan to use Icelandair so that I can take the opportunity to visit Iceland, which I imagine is a pretty unique place!
