I will show you what you have not seen in terms of the overwhelming details of this freeware Mustang, including closeups of the exterior and virtual cockpit. Note that shot # 14 says it all Guys!

Hope you like this closer inspection of a freeware Mustang that is very well modeled.

Cheers! ............................................ Mike :-)

OK Mike stop it. I will download this bird ASAP, LOL. Man, some great detail in the cockpit as well :9 I like the presence of radio's in the VC. Haven't seen that in any commercial Mustang addon :)

This bird will certainly remain permanent in my FS hangar - love it when freeware attains this high level of detail and quality. Cheers my Friends! Mike ;)

Don't forget guys if you hit the toggle switches on the right in the cockpit, you can give the pilot a leater flying helmet :)

The more I see the P-51's, the more I like them. Pity almost all goodies of the flightdeck are gone in FSX so far. Thanks for the good show Mike.

Hi Wozza! Beautiful plane! Have you thought about doing the P-51H? It is lighter, more trimmed down, and I think the H has water injection for emergency combat power, can't remember how long it lasts, 20 minutes?

My engineer associates all seem to say that the P-51, B & D models for sure, not sure about the H, needs a larger/taller rudder and tail.

Racers really want the power, so I know of at least one that transplanted the Griffon engine into the P-51 and it works great. One engine book was saying that the larger Griffon had some problems with high boost settings, not sure why.
