Thanks Jan, my friend. I Do know the difference between pretty landings and safe landings..Sure, i had no winds...

When i worked for Aero Lloyd and had duty flights i often went out of the cockpit after landing/disembarking to explain the harder touch down and the fully brakes after, staying between passenger and cabin personal..but it was been like talking with a wall often.

Thanks a lot for replying...Well, one fact in first: I´ve never flown such aircraft in real life, so i only can tell you some about Rick´s dynamics of the 1-11. The "only" miracle is to find the right speed for approaches; Some too less, you loose at all, mostly you got in stall - not to recover; Some too fast this one don´t like sink or you risk a t/d with the front wheel/overrun of runway... Ricks´s BAC 1-11 is an outstanding masterpiece....and free!!!!

Great capture of a a sweet landing Thorsten!...Oh well, if we take in consideration the phone number usually dialed after, Jan's landings are not 1-11 but 9-11 LOL!! :7

holy cow, jan, you gonna let carlos get away with that, lol? you guys have me curious, is that one a free download? always interested in a challenging bird...

if you wanna try one thats RIDICULOUSLY hard to land, go get the Heinkel He178 jut checked and its not available here anymore but im sure you can find it at one of the others.

Hallo Thorsten :) Glad to hear you (And this shot) survived the winter ;) Great shot and landing indeed :o

...I'll have to say though, I love the level of realism that was put in that 1-11, it's an amazing piece of freeware -Realistic systems, simply amazing VC and detailed documentation :9 So Phil, you MUST get this bird! ( http://dmflightsim.co.uk/ )

Thanks a lot Carlos, Bert and Esteban!

Carlos: >Jan's landings are not 1-11 but 9-11 < i like the way we exchange compliments....

Bert: Greetz back to Groningen County

Esteban: holy "flying" cow!!! We had a very heavy storm with 80 mph (Cat. >12) and more, no energy several times and lot´s of closed streets due to broken trees.
