I was just wondering if someone could post some pictures of what it looks like when you fly into a cloud layer in FSX. I remember in FS2004 that when you flew into a cloud layer, all of a sudden the clouds would almost vanish and you could suddenly see the ground. I'm not talking about the weather updating either. You just didn't get that realistic feeling of flying through the "soup"

So you get a little bit better of a feeling of actually flying through something it looks like?

Hi!
Here are two shots that i hope you like...FSX is awesome..not only you get the feeling of flying through something, but also you may be hitted by turbulence, downdrafts, updrafts :D

Downdrafts and updrafts were something that has been seriously missing from FS until now.

do you see nothing at all when you are right in a cloud?
like it was in fs2000... i liked that most. you approached a cloud, then suddenly "whomp" everything around you is white. at night you even saw your own strobe light reflecting in the clouds..

Oh yeah, I remember that. It was even good way back with FS98 and previous old school ones. I dont know what happened with 2002-2004, but IMC flight sucked. And that is mostly what I like to do. Nothing like setting the ceilings to minimums and trying to pick out the ALS when you reach the DH. fun stuff
