Here's a flight I did because someone asked for pics for this airport. I'm still trying to set the various sliders to balance everything off well. I have autogen at sparse as it seems to be a big frame-rate hog.

The glass-cockpit Mooney is pretty cool although I think I prefer the regular dial instrments on my 15" LCD monitor at 1024 x 768 pixels (have to zoom in too much to read things).

The ground textures really look great in FSX.

The road traffic is cool and more detailed than I expected. Flying over Toronto last night , it seemed to move too fast compared to reality so maybe it's just at highway speed everywhere.

Very nice, but I have a question??

Do the cars and trucks drive across the bridges??

Great set of shots David! How does FSX run on your system? Mine is practicaly identical to yours. I was getting some pretty decent frames in the first build of the demo with everything maxed, so I'm anxious to find out how the final product runs on a similar system. Thanks for sharing the shots! Really like them! :D

Glad you like the pics Alex.

Kimber ... I didn't check at that location but just now went to Harrisburg PA since I knew there were a couple long bridges across the river and vehicles do cross the bridges. Actually sometimes cars getting to the start of the bridge will disappear and new vehicles will start oin the bridge. The effect looks like a continuous flow of cars if you don't follow individual cars. Oddly I noticed once a car went from the bridge to the shore so I'm not sure how the whole road traffic works but it looks really great if you don't inspect it too carefully

Yeah Larry, the trees are nice although I think I see orange and red conifers LOL. I just did a tweak last night for the autogen trees reducing how many are used and it seems to help with the frame-rates. My autogen was on sparse for this flight.

Bryan, I have my frame-rate locked at 17 and right now it's around that flying around this location and Harrisburg PA. I certainly don't have anything maxed but have tried to balance the sliders I want most to a reasonable level and still get smooth frame-rate. There seems to be no choppiness like FS2004 was infamous for so that make the flight seem smoother. By putting the frame-rate slider at unlimited I range between 12 and 21 at my current altitude of 4000' depending on what is in view.
