In 1937, the Canadian government set up Trans Canada Airlines who bought two Lockheed 10's from Canadian Airways, and immediately ordered three more.

They were used primarily on the Vancouver-Seattle routes, but were quickly replaced by the more powerful Lockheed 14's, the L-10's being then relegated to the RCAF.
