The Boeing 575 by Nick Pike was one of my favorite aircraft for FS2000, and I was extremely surprised to find out it was (and has been for some time) available for FS2004. When I downloaded it I found a beautiful aircraft that has already, after one flight, taken a place in my heart.

This flight is one of my first in a long time because of work, personal life, and school. This was a nice hop from KBFI in Washington to KDPA in Illinois. The Boeing 575 was quite capable of this flight, making it in about 2 hrs 45 minutes with only 25% of it's fuel burned. Either those two jets are extremely efficient, or the 575 has massive fuel tanks. :-lol No matter, the 575 cruised at Mach .91 at FL450, giving me a nice view of the world around.

Unfortunately, I had to save and exit FS2004 before the landing, and then reloaded it later. I didn't realize until afterwards, as so often happens, that FSScreen wasn't open. As a result, you'll just have to take my word that that landing was one of the most spectacular landings you've never seen. No, really. ;-)

Enjoy!

Scott

I see this is a bit of an old thread, but I will try it anyway.
I tried to contact Nick Pike himself, but the email bounced, so I will post the content of my email here

Hello Nick,

I love the panel of the C26 and the C26 itself, but I experience a few problems (I use a normal joystick and it's calibrated)
I use the trigger on the joystick to apply both brakes, but more often they don't work. Off course autothrottle is disabled when I don't use autotaxi
Wheather I have autotaxi on or not.
I use F11 and F12 for the differential brakes (same problem as with braking on both wheels at the same time)
I steer the nosewheel with the joystick
I haven't tried the panel on one of my 737's yet, so I don't know if the brake problem will occur there, too

But for flying and even more landing on VATSIM it would be nice to have WORKING brakes.
It's not really appreciated to crash into someone else's plane on VATSIM.

Can I solve this problem by tweaking the aircraft.cfg or panel.cfg?

I used to have another autotaxi gauge, when you use that one, the throttles automatically go to idle, when you do a full stop on the brakes.
The gauge will throttle up as soon as you release the brakes
I would like to have the same principle

The altitude callouts don't work either, however it does show the message that the callouts are active (when activated)

I am using FS2004 and the joystick is a Logitech Attack 3.

I hope you can give a solution to these problems.

Thanks in advance

Regards
Daniƫl
