Leg 26
Date: 1/26/04
Dep: MKJP / Norman Manley Intl / Kingston, Jamaica
Arr: MTPP / Port-Au-Prince Intl / Port-Au-Prince, Haiti
Route: MKJP-SASON-KOBEX-MESLI-MTPP
Distance: 288.8 nm
Time enroute: 1:11

In this flight we get to see two sunrises as we head to the Hispañola island, landing at Port-Au-Prince, capital of Haiti. Good thing I flew this leg back in January before the violence erupted! Anyway ... after completing one nice sunrise, I crossed a time zone boundary and stoopid FS set GMT back an hour, giving me a second sunrise. One of my pet peeves about FS ... why can't they get this right?!?!? :-mad

OK, I'm calm now. Let's fly! Crack o' dawn:

Goodbye, Jamaica!

D'oh! :-mad Who turned the sun back an hour? Bill Gates has way too much power!

Oh, well. We'll enjoy another sunrise. Maybe this is some kind of apocalyptic sign ...

Nice shots and report, I also appreciate the slightly smaller picture size .. alot quicker loading times for my poor old 56k! :)
