Got one for you, Brother John: go to Hope Municipal in Hope, Arkansas & fly west, landing that pontooned plane of yours at the north end of the reservoir there ... if'ns you can. Ha! :-eek Puts the Dead Sea to shame!

Thanks Al & Rog!

Dwayne -- I'll give it a shot when I have more time. BTW, the parameters of your challenge didn't exclude the use of the slew button, so I may be able to pull it off! :-lol

Actually, it's not quite as big as the last two shots make it look. The zoomed-out pics make it look like Lake Michigan, but it's a not all that big.

A fun adventure, though, for anyone who wants to give it a spin. It's just SSE of MMTO.

Inspired by Dwayne's post of landing a Cub in the crater of Mt. Saint Helen's, I decided to try this much safer adventure: Land my amphibious Porter in the crater lake of the Nevado de Toluca. At least this volcano has a much more forgiving landing surfaceand it's dormant!! :-)

I'm sorry that these aren't of very good quality -- I'm in a hurry and just threw this thing together. Catch y'all laters!
