is a better way to view these.
You you do decide you want to download and watch my [link:www.kmkreative.co.nz/downloads/F-16.zip|movie], you will need to have [link:download.divx.com/divx/DivX511.exe|divx] installed so media player can decode it. Sorry about the sound quality, I have cut it back to allow for a smaller download.

Nice work. If you send me an article about how you made your movie, I will feature it at FlightSim.Com and host the movie for streaming video and downloads. Send the article in a text file (MS Word is OK) and separate screenshots.

Thanks Pol and CapMason. Sorry I couldnt get some of your other paints in Pol. I had a go this morning but fs.com must have been busy.

CapMason, do you want an article about how Imade this movie in particular, or any movie?

Thanks guys. Appreiate it. Really though, the star is Kirks Viper. The way the virtual pit has been created gives so much scope. Someone here gave e the idea for the wheel well shot when he posted a similar shot a few months back. I use Active Camera too which helps moving about in the VC as you can travel further than the normal ctrl-shift-enter keys allow. A number of the shots from the outside of the plane are actually shot while in VC view.

Supprised at the lack of feedback though? Any other thoughts / comments?

lol, not much feedback? This is a lot of replies for this forum. Look at the topic with my second video
One :P

The movies really well put together. Great ideas and angles. :)
Like watching the opening sequences of aviation shows.

Opps Bryan. I missed that post. Downloading the vid now. :)

I suppose that with nearly 300 downloads in 2 days a few more people might have had something to say good or bad? ;) I have had an email from my webhost and have had to remove the movie tho. I suppose that I can call it a success then :D
Thanks for the comments too Eric. Im glad your trying out the Viper. Its nothing short of phenomenal.

Thanks again to all who replied and all who liked the movie. I hope to do an RNZAF tribute at some stage, but I might wait for the Captainsim Herc to be released, and with Rick Piper still working on his Strikemaster variant of the awesome Jet Provost, that really belongs in any RNZAF movie too.

Hey Grover, nice job.

The downside to creating movies is the sudden orgy of downloads. When I released my B1B version, my hosting went through 2gb in a week. Which as a bit of a problem seeing I only had 2.5gb per month traffic allowed :-(

Still using FRAPS for the movies ?

03-21-2004, 09:33 PM
Hey Kyle, yeah Im still using Fraps, though I have a new gfx card which has improved the stuttering. I used 3 gig yesterday though ;)

Daniel, hopefully it will be available here at flightsim soon .
