I saw your post about the missing gps gauge, and thought you might know the answer to this one. I installed Cas Stephens replacement textures for the 737 747 & 777. I then suddenly lost the textures somewhere, I don't know what I did. They are still in there, my file structure shows them, but they are not in the select ac show room. I am thinking of uninstalling the 737 747 & 777 and reinstalling them again for another try. I saw the ac in the #1 disk but am unsure how to work the cab files. Do you think that by copying those files shown on disk one that pertain to the 737 747 777 I could do that? Also, which files go? All the ones saying 737 747 777 plus the zipped files? I sure don't want to uninstall the whole program. Thanks for any help. CIAO, c.j.g.

IF ---you chose to reinstall your heavys, extract them from the cab files. As an aside, perhaps when you installed the replacemen textures you: 1)overwrote the originals or
2)put them in the wrong texture folde(s). If you simply added a folder of textures such as :
Texture.3 without some other changes, they won't show. Sorry if this is confusing BUT I'm new too and trying to learn. Best wishes,

Welllll, Thanx for the reply Gator, I think I will leave well enough alone, I attempted at shuffling the files around and FS wouldn't load. So I went back to what I had. I also experimented, I extracted the 737 into my 'junk' folder to take a look see, but it did not go in as I expected, the computer asked about a new archive and I stopped there. This learning stuff is what makes the sim fun :o). Later, c.j.g.
