It's stunning how good freeware aircraft are becoming; even the windscreen wiper/"glass cleaner" is working and today I needed it, if not for effect alone!
Makes you wonder when the payware developers are going to raise the bar.

The wipers are bounded to the "water rudder deploy" command, usually "shift-w."
It's all in the manual Brian. ;)

I must have donwloaded a different file because there is no manual.
11-14-2003, 07:06 PM
Now that's one awesome bird you gots there...
11-15-2003, 08:08 AM
the manual is a html file located in the aircraft file in fs9

Both AVSIM and FS.com have direct links to download the correct file on their front pages. If you go to AVSIM, just scroll down to the article titled "AN-24RV Lands at AVSIM" or something similar.

I got it now. I had downloaded a FS2002 version and just now I noticed the news at AVSIM about this aircraft. I read the manual and the wipers do work, but they are a big hit in my fps.
Wow that looks really great!!:-eek

I remember not too long ago that there were huge discussions on how there is no good freeware and that everybody is going payware. I think this post is some great evidence that freeware is still around and thriving. Great post!
