Well like nearly every other aviation minded person in the Manchester area i went to see concorde yesterday.

Here are some of the pictures i took, ok there not up to the standard of most on this forum, but then i don't have a £2000 camera.

Nice pictures but why oh why have BA painted that Dash 8 with the stupid China tail? It looks ridiculous, are they sending it long haul to Beijing? Only 5 more stops to go folks.

Thats at the Manchester viewing park, you should have seen it when Concorde arrived it was packed, i was lucky enough to get a spot at the fence.

Brolliant shots. And why is the tail on the BA dash 8 bad i like it. Seen it many a time.

Personally i think they just let a child loose with a large paint brush, the world tails where a waste of time and money, there where only a few i liked, (the Tarten one).

No i live just south of Manchester, like the Tarten one because: a) i was born in Scotland, and b) it looks like what its meant to be.

They look good Leo. :D You are a lucky guy to see the Concorde, I have not, and never will, see one... :-(

Excellent shots. love the BA dash. such a cool tail. Concorde :(

Dont worry Jason you can still see her, she'll be in museums.
