Hi Guys,

I've been sitting on it for about a year now, and was planning on redoing it, but I'm looking forward to other projects.

So, here's my question: Should I upload this?

This is the plane that got me painting in the first place. I liked AFG's YS-11, but I wanted it in these colors and it didn't exist, so I learned how to paint! This was my very first project...right Ashley? :D ( He gave me my first lessons, and now I'm actually IN AFG!) Since then, I learned a lot more tricks in the paintshop, and had plans to do it over. I don't know...I think it looks okay don't you? There's a lot of things I see that you probably don't, so maybe I'm being a little too self-critical?

Let me know your thoughts!

Thanks, Chuck :)

This is the NAMC YS-11FC Flight Checker, operated by the Japan Air Self Defense Force (Japan Air Force.) It is used to calibrate navigational aids throughout Japan, and is still being used today. It's my very favorite YS-11 paint scheme!

Hi Ash!

How appropriate your the first to respond! I'll never forget the kick-start you gave me into painting, and I thank you! :)

Looking at it now, I'm thinking I WILL upload it, and I'll put it here first. Maybe I'll even do it later tonite or tommorow!

Thanks,

Chuck :D

I'd say go for it Chuck. It looks really good, I'll certainly download it. I think it's a very interesting livery, seeing how it checks navaids and stuff.

Hi Guys,

Yes indeed it is FS9. During this flight I actually worked one more bug out in the fine-tuning process. Turning AA off in the sim and leaving it to the video card really works!

Thanks for the comments everybody, and I definately will upload it soon.

Chuck
