Great timewarp shots with the aircraft :-)
I believe it is the highest Mt in the Southern hemisphere. But could be wrong.

Hmmm I dont think that is Mt Cook, but like airtrainer i could be wrong. Mt Cook is the tallest peak in the Southern Alps. There is a few other peaks beside it that are not much lower. I know in the default scenery there is a few tall pointed mountains that are not there in the real world. installing the free 150m mesh from www.geographx.co.nz will fix these problems. :)

Great shots, I don't think that's Mount Cook, I think I know where the mountain in those shots is though, and for some reason MS put a mountain where there isn't one in real life... The terrain mesh makes it look really great though! ;)

Thanks for the link Scott! I just installed the mesh and the land class, what a difference. My wife is from NZ. I just flew over Carterton where my mother-in-law lives, what a difference from the default scenery.
Cheers!

Nope, I think there's about ten of us now actually... :) More NZ'ers than there are Aussies as far as I can see... (unlike real life ;))
