LAST EDITED ON Oct-13-01 AT 11:17PM (EDT)[p]As a flight simmer for quite some time it's always interesting to try new things and fly to new places. It's what we do for excitement and I just found one tonight.
If you have FS2K, you can try this.
It's a short flight.
Just so you can enjoy the surprize as I did go to:
SCDW (Porvenir) near the southern tip of South America.
Fly to SCCD (Carlos Ibanez Del Campo Intl)
VOR/NAS 114.10 in NAV2
NDB?AS as a compass locator for approach.
ILS/ILAS 109.90 in NAV1 for R/W25 251^
Make the short flight.
Surprise!!! :-lol

Tried it. Saw it. Closed my eyes, and flew right through it.

It won't show up in FS98. It is a FS2000 scenery error.-:)
Also there's an error in the AP ID.
IF you want quick view go to SCCI
It shows up on the drop down menu as SCCD.

So if you land, do you crash into that thing or does FS2000 just ignore it and you can pass right through it?

Peter,
You fly right through it.
Just another easter egg in FS2000.
This is one I'd nerver seen listed before.
Among some that I've found in flight simming are
Catalina Island (KAUX) try landing there.
Sion, Switzerland (LSGS) R/W 26 approach.
I like the poor sailor at N20^25.07 E136^04.76 :-(
I didn't find that one, someone else did.
Does anyone have any they've found or heard about?
I'd be interested to know.
