Hi.
Please take a look on the screenshot above. Notice the jagged lines and the clear different colors in the water. It also looks overal unfocused and in my opinion its quality is pretty worse than what I see here. Now the funny thing is that in FS the image looks much better. The problem comes when I paste the shot in Photo Editor. I suppose I should do some editing on it but I donīt know how to do it. Can someone help me with basic tricks or point me to a link with help ?
Your help is greatly appreciated.
Best regards

The jagged lines and soft focus comes from the image program you're using.
Try this instead. Get the screenshot you've taken, put it into the image prog, then reduce the image size to @700 or even less.
Because the image is so big, jpg compression is used (to keep the file size under the magic 100kb for posting to this forum).
It's this compression that is also adding to the blotchy look. Uncompressed, my screen grabs come to @480kb, so there's a fair bit of compression needed to reduce that to below 100kb.
In your image program, try looking for cropp, to reduce the extra stuff seen on the screenshot.
The end result ?

Does that make sense ?

First, when I take a screenshot, I use 1600 x 1200 resolution. The I crop out any of the window edges and windows taskbar out. Using Irfanview (www.irfanview.com) I resize the image to around 800 x 600 or whatever I feel like resizing it too. Irfanview will also recompress the image. What you're left with is a picture devoid of jaggies.

Irfanview is great for resizing and compressing images. That's pretty much what I use it for. You can't actually CREATE anything in it. Just edit a few things about images. PSP and Paintshop are vast in scope compared to Irfanview. But Irfanview is free, so you can't go wrong with it.

Hey thanks for your help.
It DID improved my screenshot a lot. I will give it a try and then re-post it here.
I saved a series of Screenshots to represent the last flight of the Electra in the Varig Shuttle Service. But I will try to improve the quality first.
Thanks again and best regards
