Okay so I haven't flown the DC-10 in a long time, but at least thanks to this drop off I didn't get off the rnwy... (Ok so I did, but the drop off was really cool! :-cool)

Climbing out of Simon Bolivar Int'l. It is curious that the airport in Quito is named the same, and so is the one in Santa Marta, Colombia, although it is not an international airport

Ugly weather with Simon Bolivar Int'l in the background... heading for sunny Aruba (I hope)

Hey Stefano, very nice again. I like the lighting in your take off shots (perfect clouds also). The last two edits are amazing!

Hey guys! thanks for your rapid and kind responses. It was weird flying this big bird after such a long time. The takeoff felt just like it feels taking off a Carrier with a Tomcat... :-lol

Awesome!! loved the pictures:D thanks my friend...those airports are called after "El Libertador"..Simón Bolívar liberator of Colombia, Ecuador besides Venezuela..and Bolivia is named in his honor...by the way, the airport in Quito is Mariscal Sucre..also a Venezuelan military, member of the Liberator's army..but you are in the right direction, because Guayaquil airport in Ecuador, is named Simón Bolívar..thanks again Stefano...my email is pelon95@cantv.net if you wanna write sometime¨:-)

Thanks again for your comments guys.

-Carlos, yes I mistook Quito with Guayaquil, my bad! And of course, I know Mariscal Sucre, Antonio Nariño, Fransico Santander... great men! Do you know if there is an airport named after Antonio Nariño?

I'll drop you a line sometime. Do you have msn? My email is komododragonx@hotmail.com

Saludos!
