At Flightsim.com I saw an article about flying the STOL Dash-7 in the Alps. Flying from high altitude airports like Courchevelle with the Dash-7 is absolutely exciting. I found out the Dash-7 handles easier at the high altitude airports compared to light weight Cessna's and Pipers!
Here are some shots of my landing at Courchevelle, French Alps. With full flaps the Dah-7 flies like a balloon, slow and steady.
Sorry for the blurry textures, next time better...

Some significant power needed to keep rolling here ;-)

Hope you liked it. The scenery and airplane were downloaded from Flightsim.com and Avsim. It's not Lago scenery but freeware. Frame rates are no problem, even with my 1.2 Ghz AMD ;-).
If you want to have the airplane and scenery, look for the article in Flightsim.com about approaches to Courchevelle with the Dash-7. It's in the Flightsim.com library for sure :-). All the links for downloading scenery and airplane can be found in that article.
